Featuring the East Coast premiere of Eric Whitacre's Prelude in C, Strauss' lyrical Oboe Concerto performed by HHSO's Reid Messich, and Rachmaninoff's sweeping Symphony No. 2, this richly textured concert bridges past and present through powerful musical storytelling.
