This is a new, nonfiction book club for the history-minded, the Heritage Book Club at the Hilton Head Library is a joint program with the Heritage Library -- a non-profit, private library geared towards the research of local history and genealogy. The club hopes to meet quarterly to discuss a selected book on local and localized historic topics. All are welcome. The first meeting will discuss A Yankee Scholar in Coastal South Carolina – the Civil War Journals of William Francis Allen, edited by James Robert Hester.
