What is Small Business Saturday?
Small Business Saturday is a National holiday celebrated the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Started by American Express in 2010, it recognizes America’s small businesses and celebrates shopping local. Last year, 95 million people shopped in local businesses on that day.

On this day, we shift the holiday shopping focus from large department stores and retailers, to small, local businesses. Dollars spent at local businesses have a greater economic impact on a community – each dollar spent at a local, independent small business returns 3 times more money to our local economy than when spent at a chain store.

If you’re a shopper, we encourage you to check out our small businesses offering deals and coupons for this special day.
