• Leah Arnold was promoted to the Executive Director of Parks and Recreation at the Island Recreation Center. She’s been there for 22 years. 

• Paul Arvantides is the new Chief Executive Officer of the Don Ryan Center for Innovation. He was formerly the director of innovation services there. 

   

• Palmetto Breeze announced that two of its employees were honored by the Transportation of South Carolina: 

  • Vivian “Gail” McTeer, Award of Excellence in Distinguished Service
  • Deonte Ellis, Award of Excellence as Bus Driver of the Year

• Henry Criss, Chief Executive Officer of Fraum Health, recently became a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the nation’s leading professional society for healthcare leaders.

• John Haskins is the new Director of Golf Sales at The Sea Pines Resort. He spent nearly 20 years at a 5-star resort and at Charleston Golf, Inc.

• David Hindman was selected as the Bluffton Township Fire District’s new chief. He was previously at the Greenville City Fire Department. 

• Beaufort County Solid Waste and Recycling Program Manager Victoria Hoffman was recently named Public Works Program Manager of the Year by the American Public Works Association’s South Carolina Lowcountry Branch. 

• USCB named Genia Montford as the interim athletic director. 

• Hilton Head Public Service District’s General Manager Pete Nardi has been named Chair of the American Water Works Association’s Water Conservation Division and appointed to its Technical Education Council.

• Meghan Traylor was promoted to the Director of Outside DMC. She’s been with the company for 12 years.  

   

• Randy Moody has joined Haig Point as the Director of Agronomy and Grounds. He most recently served as a superintendent of the River Course at Kiawah Island Club. 

• Nicole Wood has been appointed as Deputy County Administrator at Beaufort County. She currently serves as an Assistant County Administrator with Greenville County.
