Condé Nast Traveler announced that Hilton Head Island has been chosen as the No. 1 island in the U.S. for the fifth consecutive year in its 2021 Readers' Choice Awards.

More than 800,000 Condé Nast Traveler readers submitted responses rating their travel experiences across the globe to provide a full snapshot about the places they can’t wait to return to next. Being at the top of this list is an honor, but being named the No. 1 Island for five years in a row is recognition that many destinations would love to have.

Congratulations to the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport that was named the No. 1 domestic airport for the second year in a row!

Congratulations is also extended to Montage Palmetto Bluff, which was named the No. 1 Resort In The South. Palmetto Dunes Ocean Front Resort, Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort, and The Inn & Club at Harbour Town were also named to that list.

This Condé Nast Traveler honor comes less than one month after Travel + Leisure readers ranked Hilton Head Island the No. 1 Island in the U.S. also for the fifth time in its annual Worlds Best Awards.

Accolades such as these - especially from such respected travel media outlets -  helps influence affluent travelers, build our brand, drives the bottom line for our business community, and helps sustain the quality of life we all enjoy.

Cheers to America's Favorite Island®
