Dear All,

The Port of Los Angeles may be across the country, but what goes on there impacts store shelves and services right here in the Lowcountry.

The supply chain backlog has impacted local commerce - everything from construction delays to new car inventory to longer waits for goods and gifts in our local retail shops.

What is being done to solve the supply chain problem? How is it affecting our nearby Savannah Port?

You can hear it straight from the source during our Power Hour Tele-Town Hall this Wednesday. We’ll have John Drake, Vice President of Supply Chain Policy at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce on our Zoom call, as well as Jamie McCurry, Chief Administrative Officer at the Georgia Ports Authority.

We’ll also have the latest on the Town of Hilton Head Island’s mid-island tract and the upcoming Concours d’Elegance.

Click here to sign up for the Power Hour Tele-Town Hall. It’ll be the most informative hour you’ll spend all week.

It’s hard to believe that we’re only 31 days away from Thanksgiving and 61 days away from Christmas. When you’re getting your holiday shopping done, remember to support our local economy and shop small. We’ll once again be Neighborhood Champions in the American Express campaign, Shop Small Saturday, on November 27. Stay tuned for how you can get involved.

Make it a great week!

Sincerely,

Bill
