There has been one “W” word that continues buzzing in our business community: Workforce.
Whether it is hiring or housing, it’s a hot topic and is vital to ensuring our strong economy and quality of life. We’ll dive into details on our Power Hour Tele-Town Hall this Wednesday.
Last week, the Town of Hilton Head Island announced that it awarded the Northpoint Circle workforce housing community project to Atlanta-based OneStreet Residential. Ben Brown, Senior Advisor to Hilton Head Island Town Manager, will be on the Power Hour webinar to talk about the development.
The Coastal Community Development Corporation was recently formed to provide workforce housing by “preserving existing housing, redeveloping existing property and developing new property.” Board member and SERG Group president Alan Wolf will give an update on its initiatives.
Finally, we’ll have Beaufort County Treasurer Maria Walls and Beaufort County Assessor Ebony Sanders on the Quadrennial Reassessment and what it means for your home and business.
