Dear All,

It can be hard to cut through the confusing noise of constant content on the news and social media. What headlines can be trusted? How does it affect us here in southern Beaufort County?

We’re here to help you get the facts you need, and are continuing our mission to convene, convey, and connect our community in 2022 with our Power Hour Tele-Town Hall series. Our first one of the year is this Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. Click here to get your Zoom link.

State epidemiologist Dr. Jane Kelly will be on the call to give an update on cases of the omicron variant, and all the latest protocols on quarantining, vaccinations, and all other COVID-19 topics. We’ll also have Beaufort County Superintendent Dr. Frank Rodriguez with the latest on what’s happening in schools.

How is the U.S. Hwy. 278 Corridor project moving forward? SCDOT’s Craig Winn and Beaufort County’s Jared Fralix will take questions and have an update. What policies around short-term rentals do other tourism communities have on the books? Dru Brown, a partner at Island Time and member of the national Vacation Rental Management Association, will answer that question.

The Power Hour is the one place where you can get unfiltered information straight from the source. Don’t miss it. Click here to register, and encourage your coworkers, friends, and neighbors to listen in.

Make it a great week!

Sincerely,

Bill
