What do country music and golf have in common?
South Carolinian and music superstar Darius Rucker is a huge golf fan. In partnership with the Long Cove Club, he's bringing this passion to the Lowcountry for the 10th year, and the island will be in the national spotlight.
The Darius Rucker Intercollegiate Golf Tournament is February 28 – March 2 at the Long Cove Club, and 17 prestigious universities will be represented by these outstanding female golfers. For the first time, the tournament will air live on the Golf Channel, marking the first all-women's regular-season collegiate golf event.
But locals don’t have to tune in to watch. You are welcome to Long Cove as spectators at no charge. Click here for a schedule and for more information.
