Power Hour is back!

We’re excited to kick off the fall edition of our popular Power Hour Tele-Town Hall this Wednesday.

When we launched our Power Hour at the beginning of the pandemic, our goal was to present facts over fear and allow our community to hear the news directly from leaders on the front lines.

Our lineup this Wednesday will be Tom Sullivan with the U.S. Chamber to talk about what's happening in Congress and how it impacts our community. Tom knows small business. From his time in the White House heading up a small business for President George W. Bush, to his advocacy efforts with the U.S. Chamber, his insight is invaluable.

Jeremy Clark, market CEO of Hilton Head Regional Healthcare will update us on how many patients are currently in our hospitals and how that compares to last year along with trends he’s seeing locally.  Your most pressing COVID-19 questions will be answered by state epidemiologist Dr. Jane Kelly of DHEC, and we’ll also hear from Hilton Head Island Mayor John McCann on the town’s recent emergency ordinance and what it means for our community.

Has our red-hot housing marketing cooled down yet? Rounding out the Power Hour will be Jean Beck, executive director of  Hilton Head Realtors, to tell us what’s happening with our property values and what might be next for the Lowcountry.

It’s an hour of insight you don’t want to miss. Click here to be part of it.

As we head into a busy week ahead, let’s all remember to be kind. You’ll be seeing some great Chalk the Walk artwork around town this weekend as our local schools, artists, and businesses get involved in our Be Kind campaign.

Have a great week!

Sincerely,

Bill Miles,

Bill
