Hilton Head Island Town Council voted unanimously to purchase 12 acres of property located on Jonesville Road.
- The Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Leadership Class is hard at work on its project - fishing line recycling receptacles that will help protect the wildlife in our waterways. The receptacles will be installed at all boat ramps managed by Beaufort County and other key locations including Jarvis Creek Park, the Sailing and Rowing Center and Fish Haul Beach Park.

Watterson Brands will open The Bank on Pope Avenue later this spring. The 17,000 square foot former Bank of America building is a $13 million investment, and will include a brewery, beer garden and restaurant complex including indoor and outdoor seating. It is expected to employ over 100 people.
