The Town of Hilton Head Island will transform the former Planter's Row Golf Course into a state-of-the-art park complete with walking trails, event space, playground, disk golf, gardens, and more. The Mid-Island Tract plan also calls for commercial and industrial redevelopment, and relocating the historic St. James Baptist Church
- New Dining, Shopping. & Living Options For Bluffton:
Dirt is moving on Washington Square Park located on Buckwalter in Bluffton. The development plan calls for townhomes, mixed-use retail and apartments, restaurants, and open space.
- How Soon Would We Bounce Back If There’s A Recession:
The Fed's recent move to raise interest rates is meant to "choke" inflation, but it
also brings the possibility of a recession. If there is one, Curtis Dubay, the top
economist at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, says that we'll likely bounce back
quickly.
- Recruiting New Teachers:
The Beaufort County School District raised its teacher salaries, putting it among the top three highest paying counties in the state.
- High School Graduation Rates:
