COVID-19 cases and local hospitalizations are on the decline.
As of October 6, there were 13 COVID-positive cases hospitalized in southern Beaufort County hospitals. One month ago, there were 50.
There were 37 new COVID-positive cases among 22,000 Beaufort County school students, and three teachers out of over 3,000 staff.
