Condé Nast Traveler readers chose Hilton Head Island as the No. 1 Island in the U.S. for the sixth consecutive year. Congratulations to the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport for being ranked the No. 1 Airport in the U.S. Montage Palmetto Bluff was named the No. 1 Resort in the South, and The Westin Hilton Head Resort & Spa, Inn & Club at Harbour Town, and the Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort were also named among the top 10 resorts in the south. Thanks to you for making America's Favorite Island® a great place to live, work, and play.

This week, the Town of Hilton Head Island signed a memorandum of understanding with Beaufort County to move forward with the replacement of the bridges to Hilton Head Island, paving the way for the environmental assessment process to begin as well as additional studies.
