South Carolina's leisure tourism industry has been instrumental in helping the state's economic recovery, according to SCPRT. Statewide golf rounds were up 28%, and short-term rental demand is up 12%. Click here to read more.

Locally, combined hotel, home, and villa occupancy in June was up  25.7% compared to the same time in last year, while ADR was up 44.7% and RevPAR was up 81.9%. Click here to see the report.

The Lowcountry is staying top-of-mind among travelers with HiltonHeadIsland.org website visits up 57%. The top website visitors are between 25-34 years old, and are from Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, New York, and Ohio.
