Assists with activities related to contract review and management, company policies and procedures, risk management, litigation, and other tasks assigned by the Assistant General Counsel. Duties & Responsibilities: Contract Review and Management • Prepare and review contracts including but not limited to customer agreements, vendor agreements, confidentiality agreements, financial reports, articles, leases • Assist internal business partners with identification and use of form contracts • Assist with paperwork and data entry for contract management, including in-take, negotiation, execution, and storage • Assists with training on contract management and legal review as necessary • Ensures compliance with record keeping and retention policies and procedures Policy Administration • Prepare and review policies including but not limited to insurance, legal processes and procedures, compliance, risk management, and safety • Ensure compliance by communicating with internal business partners to train and use applicable policies and procedures • Oversee policy management, including creation of new policies, revisions to existing policies, and accessibility of documents to the organization Risk Management • Review data, documents, and reports regarding automobile, workers compensation, and general liability claims • Analyze and summarize loss records, trends, and areas for improvement • Prepare and review safety training and loss management materials; assist with coordination of safety training program • Partner with management to communicate Company policies, programs, and standards Litigation • Assists with litigation matters including but not limited to employment law, workers compensation, personal injury, general liability, and property damage claims • Collect, organize, and review case files • Draft correspondence, settlement documents, legal memoranda, and other documentation as requested • Assists with witness preparation, depositions, discovery, and case materials as requested Administrative • Effectively manages administrative tasks including system(s) maintenance, data entry, filing and reporting • Maintains an attitude and philosophy consistent with and in promotion of the Company’s core values and mission statement • Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure effective operation of the department and the Company EOE/Vet/Disability

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 3+ years of experience in contract administration or legal support
• Paralegal certification preferred, but not required
• Must be able to work with confidential information and maintain utmost discretion
• Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Self-starter who requires little direction; able to anticipate the needs of others
• Strong computer skills, proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
