One of the hallmarks of a great community is how well it supports those in need.

The Lowcountry is known for the generous spirit of its residents and businesses. Many of our charitable organizations have served as a model for others around the country looking for best-in-class examples of what successfully supporting your community is all about. Whether it’s an individual volunteer, a non-profit offering support that impacts families in a positive way, or a business that takes giving back to the community to a whole new level, the Lowcountry is full of those with a desire to make a difference.

The Chamber Ball is so much more than a gala. It’s an evening designed to shine the spotlight on those who make an impact and we’re thrilled to be hosting it again following a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic.

We’re accepting nominations for three prestigious awards:

  • The Pinnacle Award honors a business large or small that is not only a successful, innovative organization but one that understands the importance of giving back to the community.
  • The Icon Award is for an individual who has made an exceptional difference in the lives of others through their outstanding service and impact on the world around them.
  • The Heritage Award is aptly named in honor of the Heritage Classic Foundation, an organization that sets the bar for community impact. This award honors a non-profit organization that makes significant contributions to the community and its residents.

Award nominations are due by March 10, and the winners will be announced at this year’s gala. The Chamber Ball’s presenting sponsor is AutoNation. They are a company dedicated to building awareness for breast cancer research and support. They lead by example and we’re so glad to have them as our presenting sponsor this year. This week’s Conversation + Cocktails will take place at AutoNation on Thursday, and you don’t want to miss it - click here to RSVP.

Click here to nominate someone for the awards and self-nominations are welcome. If you or your business are doing great things for the community, we want to know about it.

Keep an eye on your inbox for your Chamber Ball invitation. The gala will be held on April 1.

Make it a great week!

Sincerely,
Bill
