LCI-Lineberger Construction, Inc.

The primary function of this position is to assist in the layout of construction sites per plans and specifications provided. Verify the accuracy of existing plan and profile; notify the Survey Manager immediately of any discrepancies. Works in a manner to achieve the company goal; One Team, One Mission: Safety, Quality, Production. II. Description of Tasks: The following is an abbreviated list of tasks: • Assist in ensuring construction sites are ready for construction and are staked out according to plans and specifications provided. • Utilize AutoCad and Business Center Software • Ensure that field foreman is given proper grades for the area under construction • Assist in survey tasks and complete "As Builts" • Work safely, wear PPE and notify supervisor of any potentially unsafe situations • Maintain a neat and orderly work area • Remain productive for the entire work day • Maintain personal appearance appropriate for the industry • Show a willingness to learn job site goals and company-wide goals • Perform any other special projects as needed


Formal Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Prefer coursework in construction surveying.

• Requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination
Previous Job Performance/Experience Required:
• Some experience in surveying preferably in civil construction industry, some experience with AutoCad and some knowledge of surveying equipment such as rotating lasers and Total Station

V. Working Conditions:
• Physical Demands: Spends the majority of the day standing and/or walking. Performs heavy physical labor. Stoops, kneels, crouches, and/or crawls. Frequently lifts and/or moves heavy objects such as tools, equipment, supplies, etc. Must be able to access all levels of a construction site/building/structure, traverse uneven terrain, climb a ladder, and enter and exit from vehicles. Manually operates vehicles, tools and equipment. Communicates verbally and in writing.
