SUMMARY: Sets a warm, friendly welcome to those contacting the company by phone or in person, while assisting with administrative duties. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Greet office visitors, and ensure that visitors are not allowed beyond the reception area without being announced and/or approved. Answer phones, route calls to employees or voice-mail as appropriate. Maintain past customer list and job cards. Perform filing and archiving of non-confidential company records. Keep employment application box filled. Provide employment applications to potential applicants. Keep front reception/lobby area clean, neat and organized. NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Perform photocopying as needed or requested. Water office plants on a regular basis. Make coffee daily as needed and provide refreshments as directed for break room. Assist other administration personnel in office duties. Other duties required for the overall organizational operations of the organization.


High school graduate or GED.
Exceptional customer service and phone skills.
Multi-tasking and organization skills.
Ability to maintain neat and professional dress code.
Good reading, writing and verbal communication skills.
Word processing, basic spreadsheet and email skills.
Ability to operate phone systems and standard office equipment such as fax machines and copiers.
Basic math skills.

Some basic college or technical business courses preferred.

2 Years experience as a receptionist in a high-paced, active office environment.
Experience with Windows-based software programs including Excel, Word, Access and Outlook.

1-3 years of stone restoration experience.
