Hilton Head ENT has immediate needs for a qualified Medical Assistants (CCMA, CMA, NCMA or RMA) to join our growing team! Critically important to the success of the practice, Hilton Head ENT’s Medical Assistants are our front line, interacting with patients and their families on a daily basis, and at every stage of process. With two offices throughout the Hilton Head and Bluffton area, Hilton Head ENT’s Medical Assistants frequently travel between the offices to ensure full coverage at each location, and to provide critical support to physicians and patients based on practice volume and staffing levels. Whether on the phone, online, or in person, Hilton Head ENT’s Medical Assistants are trusted with the ultimate responsibility—ensuring outstanding patient experience, the key to our continued success. Medical Assistant duties include: · Patient check in/out · Clinic opening and closing · Triaging patients and assisting physicians with patients and procedures · Scheduling testing · Calling in prescriptions · Performing allergy shots, and taking vitals · Administering tympanometry exams for ear pressure · Managing hospital consultation requests for physicians · Floating between front and back office responsibilities as needed · Scanning patient records and other information as necessary · Contacting insurance companies to pre-certify tests and procedures for Physicians · Other duties as assigned


A high school diploma or a GED certification is required. Candidates must have a valid Medical Assistant certification (CMA, CCMA, NCMA, or RMA) and have graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program.

The ideal candidate will have at least one years prior experience in medical assisting. Knowledge of vital signs and patient triaging is a must. Previous ENT experience is preferred, but not required. Must show maturity when dealing with fellow employees and patients. Good written and verbal communication skills are essential.
