Education Consultant/Care Coordinator
Tutor Doctor is hiring an experienced Education Consultant/Client Care Coordinator to join our Tutor Doctor staff in Beaufort County. The primary duty is to enroll our clients in a suitable tutoring program and to maintain high client satisfaction via implementation of a consistent, caring customer service program. In your role as Education Consultant, you'll be responsible for performing in-home consultations with families and adult students in order to assess their current academic situation, as well as guiding them towards achieving their goals and dreams. Based off of the needs of the students, you will recommend an enrollment program and be comfortable discussing financial issues within the context of providing extraordinary value and results. You'll need to be well-presented, punctual and able to communicate with children as young as Pre-K in a manner that creates enthusiasm for having their own, personal "academic coach" support them with their schoolwork. The in-home consultation establishes the foundation for on-going world-class service and academic support, so you must be committed to nurturing client-relationships and ensuring that we always exceed clients' expectations. RESPONSIBILITIES: *Provide assessments and in-home consultations for families, students, and clients to create customized tutoring plans *Effectively describe and recommend our tutoring services and packages to interested prospects based on their needs *Share our mission with community members and leaders, 1-to-1 or via group presentations *Service existing clients' concerns, questions, and requests *Follow-up on current and prospective leads *Re-enroll existing clientele *Generate leads and sales based on assigned territory *Manage a group of tutors within assigned territory and match clients with said tutors
3-4 years experience in the education field and industry (Must be comfortable with certain terminology: IEP, Edmodo, ESOL, differentiated learning, etc.)
1-2 years experience in customer service
Experience with basic Database/ Data Entry
Strong typing, PC and recording skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Inside or outside sales experience

LOCATION/HOURS: This is a part-time position with flexibility on hours/days. Client care responsibilities can be taken care of at your home; however, consultations typically meet in the evening or weekend. On average, Tutor Doctor has 1-2 consultations per week lasting at approximately 1 hour.
