An Introduction to Lowcountry Amphibians

This program at the Coastal Discovery Museum will be presented by Jake Zadik, a professional naturalist and environmental educator in the Lowcountry.  Amphibians include some of the most fascinating and bizarre organisms on this planet.  The Lowcountry certainly has no shortage of amphibian diversity!  From frogs that live high up in the trees, to giant salamanders that live beneath the mud, Jake will provide us with some insight and information on the life histories of these unique organisms, as well as conservation issues threatening these animals.

the program is $7 per person for in-person viewing, and $5 for virtual viewing.  Reservations are required and may be made by calling 843-689-6767 ext. 223.
