Frequently Asked Questions

A: Our mission is to advance the common interest of our membership, to stimulate the expanding regional economy and to enhance the quality of life for all. A chamber offers networking opportunities, credentials, referrals, educational opportunities and represents the regional business community on public policy or in working with the government.

We are also the Destination Marketing Organization for the towns of Hilton Head Island and Bluffton, as well as southern Beaufort County (including Daufuskie Island), meaning we are responsible for marketing the destination to help bolster our tourism and hospitality-based economy.

A: Your annual membership investment depends on the type and size of your business and which member benefits best fit your business needs. To find out what your investment is for your business, contact a member of our membership team by email at [email protected] or by phone at (843) 785-3673, and we'll be in touch!

A: There are many chamber programs, networking sessions, and seminars that are exclusive to members only as a benefit of their investment. Other community events - such as the Chamber Ball and Sparkles & Spirits  - are open to everyone, although there may be a different cost to attend for members and non-members for certain events.

We welcome all of our members to join us and engage in our monthly committee meetings. Click here to see our active committees. For details, contact Michelle Pivik at [email protected]. Please also join us at one of our many events

A: Absolutely! The three key pillars of chamber membership - learning, connecting, and growing - benefit businesses across every industry.
