David Nelems | Don Ryan Center for Innovation | 1:15 p.m.

Before becoming the Executive Director of the Don Ryan Center for Innovation (DRCI) David had a diverse professional background.

In addition to stints as a touring rock musician and flying jets for Delta’s corporate division, David’s primary focus was in the market research industry as it relates to technology.  David founded the company ActiveGroup 1999;  the first company to use video streaming over the Internet for marketing research purposes.

David sold his company in 2007. He spent time with his wife and kids, flew a bit more and fished a lot. Deciding it was bad form to fish every day, he decided to look again for a technology or innovative company he could work with. That search led him to the DRCI.

David will be providing insight into entrepreneurship after 50. Come learn from a pro how you can turn your latest idea into a business.
