HH Monthly Preview Party of Artist Peter Max Works at Karis Art Gallery - April 20, 2012

HILTON HEAD MONTHLY TO CELEBRATE THE UNCRATING OF WORKS BY LEGENDARY ARTIST PETER MAX AT KARIS ART GALLERY HILTON HEAD ISLAND April 11, 2012 — World-renowned artist Peter Max will be appearing at Hilton Head Island’s Karis Art Gallery April 27-28, but before he arrives, Hilton Head Monthly is celebrating the uncrating of his works with a special Cover Launch and Exhibition Preview Party from 6-8 p.m. ON FRIDAY April 20 at KARIS ART & DESIGN GALLERY
The centerpiece of the festivities will be select works from Peter Max to be made available for acquisition. Famous for their brilliant use of color and whimsical sense of style, Max’s paintings are sure to make a splash on this art-savvy island. Hilton Head Monthly will be on hand celebrating Max’s stunning portrait of Sea Pines Resort’s Harbour Town Lighthouse, painted especially for the magazine’s April 2012 cover.
As guests peruse Max’s works, they’ll be treated to mouth-watering food from Mellow Mushroom Hilton Head and flavorful vintages from Island Winery; two island institutions that have graciously provided for this event.
