HELP if You Have Lost Your Job

GET HELP. Unemployment insurance benefits are available for workers who are unemployed through no fault of their own. Eligibility requirements for collecting unemployment compensation vary from state to state. So, it always makes sense to check eligibility with your local unemployment office if you are not sure whether you qualify for unemployment benefits.

If you have been laid off from your job you may be able to file for unemployment online without visiting an unemployment office. In many states, unemployed workers can apply for unemployment benefits online or over the phone.
