The Personal Lines High Net Worth (HNW) Account Manager performs the essential functions of the position, which includes supporting the service needs of High Net Worth clients and specific service responsibilities. Marketing new business to companies is required in this position as well as meeting service standards adopted by the agency. The position reports to the Insurance Operations Manager. Primary Responsibilities Manage and service HNW client accounts Marketing of new and renewal business Collects premiums for assigned agency billed accounts Cross-sells and upgrades accounts Process all day to day policy changes Duties: Responds to inquirers from insured's. Process miscellaneous changes, endorsements and cancellations. Verify new policies received from company. Work suspense's on a daily basis Surveys client exposures and recommends coverage's. Handles direct bill and agency bill walk-in payments Invoices all agency bill accounts according to department procedure. From expiration list, 60 days prior to renewal, prepare and review renewal checklists and mail to clients. Complete applications, rates and quotes for renewal, rewrite business in accordance with company underwriting guidelines. Follows agency billing and collection policy as to when and how to follow up Documents all communication with insured's, companies and third parties regarding accounts in management system Report claims to company and follow up on status. Maintains data entry. Performs other functions at direction of HNW Producers

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities

College graduate or minimum of two years insurance industry experience

Licensed insurance agent in Property & Casualty

Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to explain complex issues and respond accordingly

Knowledge of rating procedures, coverage's and insurance operations and products

Ability to use computer programs and keyboard effectively and accurately

Performance Measures and Evaluation Standards

Performance will be measured against this job description and the PL Manual including, but not limited to, number of accounts and revenues handled and processing turnaround time. Performance will be evaluated twice a year.
