About Sea Shack

The Sea Shack is Hilton Head Islands’ best hidden seafood secret. The locals favorite spot for the freshest seafood and down-home southern, low-country style cooking in town.During peak summer months, arriving upon dinner time, you can probably expect a line waiting at least a half hour before opening time at 5:00 PM. Other times of the year, there may be a small line, but wait time is rather quick (15-30mins tops). You stand in line to place your order. Menus are set out front so you can get an idea, but DO NOT FORGET to check the catch of the day Blackboard Specials, which change daily and are a tasty seafood delight.

We are a “made to order” kind of seafood restaurant. You will see after placing your order and while you are filling your own drinks, the chef of the day putting your seafood selections on as you ordered them (FRIED ? GRILLED? OR BLACKENEND?). You take a seat at an empty table, and within a few minutes, your name will be called out and your fresh, hot, and tasty meal is delivered to your table.
